A little birdie told me some of you were having trouble posting a comment - and i thought i was the only IT-challenged baby-boomer! A few helpful hints - Go to the blog, open the comments, scroll down till you get to a white box which says 'post a comment'. Write your much appreciated blog (for some reason ladies find this much easier to do than guys,) Now for the really hard part! A box may come up 'choose your profile'. Scroll down till you get to the NAME URL option. Click on that, write your name (thats all you need) - you may have to fill in one of those silly word puzzles, then publish your blog. You may even get the option to preview it, so you can check it first.
Apologies to those of you under 40 who already knew all this - just remember some of the readers are still using twink to make changes on the computer screen! Talk soon - having a hot salt bath before I hit the sack.
....then to post future comments make sure you sign in to the blog (top right corner of screen) before you comment and then you don't have to go through the profile choosing again. Happy blogging! Enjoy the salt bath Uncle Murray :)
ReplyDeletei won't tell anyone the fun we had setting up this blog in the first place - if Dad can get this techy then i think most others will manage ok. it is great dad, so appreciate your comments and its a great way of keeping up to date. You are never alone on this journey.

Hi Murray. I figured the `post a comment' bit out and I'm nearly 63 so not doing so bad eh!! ENJOY your salt bath - would you believe it takes me back to after my boys were born and those salt baths were just heavenly!!! Still praying for you lots every day. Keep up the good work. Penny and Tim XX
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips Murray - yes it was a bit challenging for us aging friends! But now we know!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates - we are thinking of you / praying for you constantly. Look forward to catching up in 10 days or so.
Hi. Travelled to Auckkand today to see the family and pick up a truck-nev managed to drive it back to Hamilton even though it is about 40 years since he was driving large trucks around. Guess what we listened to on the road? YES! Johnny Cash the whole way. I know it was boys only but Nev needed help. We are confused. Is it lots of compromising on the road to your horizon? Can't be gentle on my mind... Maybe it is she looks in the mirror and stares at the wrinkles that weren't there yesterday... No, that would be Fay. I was alright for a while - I could smile for a while just made me feel sad. Then he sang amazing grace and that was great. On to if younsee your brother standing by the road with a heavy load you've got to try a little kindness, show a little kindness and shine the light for everyone to see. The kindness you show every day is gonna help someone upon life's way. We certainly see you shining the light for everyone to see. On to stripes around my shoulders, chains around my feet and I guess these words fit too. He then reminded us that without love I am not human, without love I'm a machine. Then it was the burning ring of fire and we guessed this might be it -seemed to fit in with the salt baths! Last song he sang was "40 shades of green!!!"thought that could be it too.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, justbknow that you and Fay and yours are very much in our prayers. And thanks for opening our eyes to lyrics of songs we have never reallybtaken notice of before, not to mention helping the time pass on the drive north.
Heaps of love from nev and me xxoo
